Professional Training & Course Funding

  • ‣ €1000 contribution towards the Advanced Practitioner in Integrated Support Therapy
  • ‣ 50% funding towards Equine Kinesiology Taping & Clinical Application (up to €400)
  • ‣ 50% funding towards the Equine Genetics Course (up to €400)

These courses are designed to enhance your practical skills, deepen your understanding, and support your long-term career progression within the industry.

 

Essential Welfare & First Aid Training

  • ‣ Fully funded Level 3 Equine First Aid Course (valued at €150)

Gain the confidence and practical knowledge required to respond effectively in emergency situations and improve day-to-day horse care.

 

Online Learning: Racehorse Physiology

  • ‣ Access to two specialised online courses:
    •         ◦ Cardiovascular Health in the Racehorse
    •         ◦ Respiratory System of the Racehorse
                 (Each valued at €130)

These flexible, self-paced courses allow you to build critical knowledge around performance, recovery, and early detection of issues — all directly applicable to your role in the yard.

 

Ongoing Support & Career Development

  • ‣ One-to-one Student Pathway Planning Session

Work with an Equi-Ed advisor to map out your learning journey, identify your career goals, and ensure you are making the most of your scholarship opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria

‣ Open to individuals employed within the horse racing industry, including stablestaff, grooms, and support staff.

‣ Must demonstrate a commitment to advancing their skills and contributing to equine welfare.

‣ Priority given to applicants with at least one year of experience in the industry.
