We tacked up and rode into the sunset at the Sandstorm Equestrian Launch Event

We were thrilled to be a sponsor for the unforgettable Sandstorm Equestrian Launch event at Emerald this Saturday 27th Jan.  The event was a resounding success. And we had the opportunity to connect with a very energetic community of horse enthusiasts – Well done Amy and Team. Our decision to sponsor the Sandstorm Equestrian launch event stemmed from our belief in the power of partnerships in the equine community.

The event was a first of its kind and proved to be a real celebration of the equestrian community. Emerald came to life, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement and enthusiasm. All funds raised were donated to My Lovely Horse.

The Lucinda Green clinic was in such high demand an additional day was added so clinics had been running all day Friday and Saturday. We had our girl Leah participating on Saturday riding the Lovely Savana.

The official event started at 5.30pm with a jam packed line up of demonstrations from top class riders and instructors, starting off with a fantastic showcase clinic with Lucinda, Patrick the Star (6 year old Connie) and his brave rider Laura McCarthy on teaching a young horse XC.

Following this clinic, we had the opportunity to showcase what Equi-ed is all about. Elayne Coulston who is graduate student of Equied (and now a trainer with Equi-ed) along with the help of her horse Flash, gave a fantastic overview of the benefits of Equine Therapy. It was also an opportunity for us to connect with all types of equestrians who were eager to learn more about our courses and how they could support their horses through therapy.

Commandant Geoff Curran and Sorrellie, although showcased completely different disciplines had us all starstruck with their talents.

The fashion show included the stunning new clothing range from Sandstorm_Equestrian and Swish Equestrian Rugs. Clearly these Irish own companies have commitment to providing high-quality products at competitive prices. We also got to meet the stunning Celeste riden by Abbie who was a rescue from My Lovely Horse.

In conclusion, the event was a huge success and got to put not only Emerald Equestrian as an event location back on the map but endorsed how important it is to support our Irish equine community and businesses. We were delighted to have collaborated and been involved in this event and look forward to continuing to support the equestrian community and see what Amy will come up with next.
