Description
Equine craniosacral therapy offers a myriad of benefits to horses, promoting overall well-being and addressing various physical and emotional issues. This gentle, non-invasive therapy involves applying subtle motions to the horse’s head, neck, spine and extremities to release tension and improve the flow of cerebrospinal fluid throughout the body.
The therapy helps alleviate musculoskeletal problems, such as stiffness and soreness, postural issues while also targeting nervous system imbalances. By reducing stress and promoting relaxation, it can enhance the horse’s emotional state and behaviour, making them more receptive and cooperative during training.
Additionally, equine craniosacral therapy has shown promise in supporting recovery from injuries and enhancing performance in athletic horses. Overall, this holistic approach fosters a deeper connection between horse and handler, leading to a happier, healthier, and more balanced equine partner.
