This course was inspired by the work of John Sharkey, who is also contributing directly to its development. The course covers advanced manual techniques, clinical reasoning, pain physiology, neuromyofascial systems, proprioceptive rehab strategies, and professional ethics.

From understanding the role of mechanoreceptors and reflex arcs to applying hands-on methods like muscle energy techniques, ischemic compression, and positional release, participants will explore the dynamic interrelationship between the nervous system, fascia, and musculoskeletal health. The programme is designed to produce thoughtful, reflective, and highly skilled equine therapists capable of contributing to multi-disciplinary teams and supporting long-term horse welfare.
