RACEHORSE INTEGRATIVE SUPPORT THERAPIES

If you ever decide to leave the racing industry, you can top up on modules of our course that allow you to work on any equine discipline, not only racing. Our training principles are based on objective, evidence-based research and a thorough understanding of the Thoroughbred and its training as a racehorse. This approach takes into account the horse’s behavior and psychology and its physical structure, including anatomy and physiology, with a specific interest in injury prevention and therapy. We also cover several relevant supplementary subjects, providing an all-encompassing program of study, including work rider/jockey and horse anatomical relationships, the importance of tack and equipment in therapy, and much more.

You will learn a host of practical massage techniques such as sports massage, deep tissue muscle release, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilisation and full passive stretch routines and more!. A combination of all of these techniques produces an Equine Massage Therapist second to none with the skills and ability to help Racehorses to perform and recover better, ultimately enhancing their health and wellbeing.
